Stage 4. User testing and iteration
Organized user testing sessions with a diverse group of participants, including ornamental fish breeders, hobbyists, and retailers. Used both in-person and remote testing methods to gather insights on the platform’s usability and appeal.
Analyzed user feedback to identify usability challenges, such as improving the species search filters and streamlining the seller onboarding process. Implemented design iterations to enhance the user experience, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable e-commerce journey for both buyers and sellers.
Stage 5. Final presentation and handoff
Presented a comprehensive project report to the internship team and stakeholders, outlining the design process, user research findings, and final e-commerce platform design. The presentation emphasized the platform's potential to streamline the ornamental fish trade, improving accessibility and trust between buyers and sellers.
Delivered design specifications and assets to the development team, facilitating a smooth handoff and offering support during the platform’s development phase to address any design-related challenges.
