Stage 1: User Research

The research phase began by analyzing the existing Damro website to identify challenges in usability and visual appeal. Customer interviews and surveys provided valuable insights into how users interact with the site, revealing preferences for streamlined navigation and highlighted offers. Market research on e-commerce trends guided the development of a new concept, including the introduction of gift boxes and a more intuitive categorization system. This phase focused on understanding customer behavior and aligning the redesign with their needs and expectations.

Stage 2: Ideation & Conceptualization

From the research insights, I ideated a design that enhanced the shopping experience by introducing engaging elements like gift boxes for easy gifting options. Offers were prominently highlighted to capture customer attention, and category optimization improved product discoverability. The main goal was to create a modern, visually appealing homepage with user-friendly interfaces, reflecting Damro's brand identity while improving the overall usability of the site.

Stage 3: Design Execution

  • Wireframing: Developed wireframes to lay out the homepage structure, focusing on intuitive navigation and the prominent display of offers and categories.

  • Prototyping: Created an interactive prototype showcasing the new gift box concept and optimized navigation paths for stakeholder feedback.
